Therapy

Cheyne is passionate about creating safe and transformative therapeutic spaces where together, we will work to facilitate healing, growth and purpose, always based on your individual needs, barriers, aspirations and experiences.

Cheyne’s approach to therapy is theoretically grounded in psychodynamic principles, attachment theory and objects relations theory, and draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).

Supervision

Cheyne provides individual and group supervision to Psychologists, Social Workers and other professionals in the community, youth, homelessness, disability, familiy violence and OOHC sectors.

Supervision is offered with a deep acknowledgement of the impact of secondary and vicarious trauma as a systemic issue that impacts all of us working alongside trauma and oppression. Supervision is a collaborative space fostering learning, safety and empowerment, tailored to the needs of each individual or group.

Training
