Experience
As a therapist I work with children, young people and adults, both individually and in groups settings. I am experienced in a wide range of presentations including anxiety, depression, family estrangement, grief, life transitions and stress.
~
My work practice over the last 17 years has been in education, homelessness, sexual assault, family violence and therapeutic work with children and young people who have experienced complex and developmental trauma.~
I am a person with lived experience as an adoptee and work therapuetically with adoptees and other people impacted by family separation, including people impacted by state intervention and donor-conceived people.
~
I lived in Latin America for over 7 years, including Brazil for 12 months, and also in Spain for 12 months. Whilst I do all therapy in English, it may at times be helpful that I speak Spanish fluently and Portuguese conversationally.
